Paul Edwards is a Chartered Surveyor and has been involved in commercial property development for the last 35 years. Along with his business partner, he has run several small property companies for the last 30 years, both developing and selling property and building up an investment portfolio.
He has considerable experience in working with occupiers to develop new facilities and also regenerating existing buildings to provide newly formed units for local and national businesses. His business partner’s son runs a construction company which carries out most of their development projects and they employ local labour wherever possible.
They are currently developing new business units in Weston-super-Mare, Isleport and Bridgwater. They have a proven record of delivering value for money with all business activities and Paul believes this is an expertise he can bring to the activities of the Town Deal Board. Paul has extended his working experience into the local community by coordinating and managing the build of a community hall in his home village of Shipham. Paul is a Trustee of the Village Hall and also a member of the Management Committee.
